Language Advocacy Day 2020

HOTEL INFORMATION

Book your room through our REDUCED RATE reservation block at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, conveniently located near the Capitol Complex and Union Station.  All events except for Congressional and other off-site meetings will take place at the hotel.

AGENDA / FORMAT OF THE 2-DAY EVENT

TBD for 2020. Please see our agenda from 2019 (page 6). 

JNCL-NCLIS will take care of scheduling the date and time of all your meetings on Capitol Hill. We try to schedule all meetings on Thursday afternoon between 1-5pm; however, some meetings may fall outside this time-frame. We will upload a master schedule about one month prior to the meeting, and we will provide you with your own printed copy on Thursday morning. All resources will be shared on our Google Drive found here.

Apart from office meetings in House and Senate Buildings, all events during Language Advocacy Day will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, unless otherwise noted. House buildings are about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Senate offices are a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Taxis are readily available all over the Capitol Hill area.
